Message to Putin
Sue for peace or else
Is it just me or is there a massive PR exercise underway to message to Moscow that:
a) It is isolated - and contrast that with love fest for Zelensky at Arab League and G7, with high profile meetings with MBS and Modi as well as the G7 crew.
b) More sanctions are coming.
c) More weapons are coming for Ukraine with realistic chance of the F16 coalition actually delivering.
d) When the Ukraine counter-offensive comes it will be devastating and risks the collapse of Russian troops in Ukraine.
Message to Putin is you cannot win here, negotiate before the counteroffensive.
Chinese diplomats on the rounds as well.
Something seems to be afoot.
What terms could Putin hope for? The minimum Ukraine position is a return to the status quo ante 2014. I suppose he could keep a lease on Sebastopol and call it a win but he’s just chum for the the even-farther-right sharks, then.
