The Trump peace plan
1. Announce some dates for a ceasefire when you know you are not playing golf/having tanning session and can do a press conference.
2. Call Putin, ask him what he wants, then give him everything he wants.
3. Before Ukraine realises point 2, send US Treasury officials to Kyiv to get Ukraine to sign away all their mineral wealth rights for some vague promise of “financial support” in the future. Make menacing statements that if they don’t sign up, US support is pulled.
4. Declare ceasefire.
5. Call Nobel asking for peace prize.
6. Walk away leaving the mugs, those Europeans, to clean up the mess.

Trump can't force the world to bend at the knee. We in Australia have invested in USA. They have a surplus with us. We gave a deposit on a sub. Recently. What did we get in return? An ultimatum and insult with tariffs. So anyway we won't be bowing down to pressure. That's not what we do here.
