My gut instinct was for a total Ukrainian victory and the collapse of the Russian federation along with Putin a nice bonus. My only concern would be having China’s sphere of influence much closer to Europe in future if they were to fill the vacuum after Russia left. Basically I would much rather have a Russian nefarious influence in many states than a Chinese nefarious influence. Simply because Russia is too poor weak and in decline to use these states against us but China could rinse much more potential out of them increasing its power yet more as the wests no.1 adversary on every level. The irony is Russia is the west’s buffer against China.

It reminds me of a comment Mrs khrushchev apparently said at some high level occasion to an American during the Cold War in the lines of “you in the west owe Russia as we have historically defended you from the East”. I assume she’s talking the mongols.

I don’t think my comments about Orban could be viewed in a positive light, tbh.

Well Russian troops are now situated in Azerbaijan territory proper.

I felt from the beginning that the west should have not taken such a bystander status in dealing with the Russian aggression. There has never been any doubt that Putin has to be removed from power and if that causes Russia to break up through civil unrest that is a good thing.

The bombs will still exist but will be controlled by smaller radical groups, each with their own agenda and thusly can be dealt with on a smaller scale with less likelihood of creating a total nuclear holocaust.

As someone who disagrees with you on almost every point you make, I’m urging you not to indulge in calling your opponents Russian stooges. Similarly I’ll refrain from calling you a shill for the blob and weapons manufacturers. There is a strong realist movement in this country and thinkers like Bridge Colby and John Mearsheimer deserve a respectful hearing.

No that was not my point. I mean if Russia disintegrates or Putin looses his grip on power then there is a much higher likelihood of nukes being stolen and sold in the "international black market". Several middle eastern countries would buy as well as North Korea. Even one slip up is a disaster. We need a wounded, exhausted Russia with Putin in control. Licking his wounds for the next 10-15 years. Chaos in Russia could soon lead to CHAOS for the rest of the world (and the West).

Just to set the record straight, you have your facts incorrect. Ukraine has more than 122,000 dead and another 33,000 missing and presumed dead soldiers. They are being slaughtered at about an 8 to 1 ratio. They have nearly double that figure who are wounded. If you think Ukraine is winning then sign up and go fight on the frontline and see how long you last. Its idiots like you who promote hate and show your ignorance of the facts. Instead of being a statesman and promoting peace you along with all the Neocons are the ones that promote wars but never put yourself or your family on the frontlines to fight and die needlessly for some politician who is bought and paid for by the industrial military complex. It's America and Nato that started this war because all Western governments are about to collapse due to the sovereign debt crisis that is unfolding. Every single Western government has borrowed money year after year since WW2 without any thought of ever paying it back. Ontario is the most indebted place on the globe that is not a country!! Why did Zelensky ignore the Minsk agreement and send troops to kill 30,000 ethnic Russians that live west of the Dnieper River in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. How long would it take for the Americans to respond if Mexico sent their army into Texas and killed 30,000 Texans to retake it as it was part of Mexico long before the USA was even a country. What would be the response if China sailed its fleet up the west coast of United States just as the Americans constantly sail their fleet in the south China sea? Ukraine was never a country, it tried to issue currency after the WW1 and the Germans and the Austrians and the Polish stepped in. It was Kruchev that created Ukraine because he was born close to the border of the two and was responsible for the rebuilding of Kiev after WW2. The borders in the region have been fluid for hundreds of years and the people tghat live in the western part of what is known as Ukraine were under Polish rule. Putin has no intention of invading Western Europe which is a complete mess and Hitler must be rolling over in his grave to see what has happened in his beloved Germany. Do we hate Germans because of Hitler? Then why do we hate the average Russian because of Stalin who was from Georgia and not Russia. Get a life and stop promoting hate and start asking the real question, why is no one talking about peace. Stop being a puppet of George Soros and the Klaus Schwab one world government. The USA is the only country to ever use Atomic weapons against an opponent who they created war with by freezing Japanese assets and having Standard oil cut them off, so stop promoting that theory.

You're silent on the elephant in the room: one or more loose nukes floating uncontrolled around the globe because Putin looses control.

You get to write unbelievable. They will let anybody write anything. Maybe come out of your echo chamber do some real research then try writing. You don’t have a clue what’s going on. Look up the Minsk agreement. Where Ukraine signed the agreement to stop shelling Donbas that has killed 1,600 men women and children after the overthrow of the government in a coup 2014 where they set the opposition party on fire in a building burned them alive. Then the United States put in a puppet regime. Poroshenko, Angela, Merkel, and the former president of France all signed agreement. In which they recently came out and said it was just a by time for Ukraine to build up arm forces. Basically all three admitted that they were going to war with Russia. Then democracy shined in and they held a referendum, which was the highest turnout for a vote ever, and overwhelmingly voted to join Russia Crimea Ukraine. Then NATO basically said we don’t except your referendum. While preaching about democracy. Then Zelenskyy campaigned on peace. Said that he would implement the Minsk agreement. but the Azoff Batalion (Neo Nazis )continued shelling Donbas for 2 more years. what was there crime? Why were they being shelled? They were being shelled because they’re a Russian speaking Ukrainians and being ethnic cleansed . That was a last straw for Russia. So this puff peice is nothing more than the insane ramblings of an uneducated person. Or a propagandist that wants to see World War III and millions of people vaporized.
