My read of the G7 summit in Hiroshima was that Ukraine and the West were determined to send a message to Putin to negotiate or else face inevitable defeat. https://www.ft.com/content/0d2c1fed-422f-4feb-83a5-ea0befef2854Thanks for reading @tashecon blog! Any idea about parts replacements (like optics for tanks for example), current scale of military production in Russia compared to pre-war times, number of missiles in stockpiles? Actually, any numbers? I'm just trying to see how do you justify "negotiate or face inevitable defeat" and if I should ignore this blog. I'm not on Russia's side, just curious if this is becoming a wishful thinking propaganda blog.
In response to Putin's genocidal invasion of Ukraine, democratic states are engaged in what can be described as various forms of self-conscious bystanding — from empathetic to complicit.
