Any idea about parts replacements (like optics for tanks for example), current scale of military production in Russia compared to pre-war times, number of missiles in stockpiles? Actually, any numbers? I'm just trying to see how do you justify "negotiate or face inevitable defeat" and if I should ignore this blog. I'm not on Russia's side, just curious if this is becoming a wishful thinking propaganda blog.

It seems obvious that Ukraine is not fighting Russia alone. Liberal democracies see defeating Putin as an ideological imperative to restore World order with Ukraine as their own frontline. The military and economic power of Ukraine’s supporters, far exceeds Russia’s, so it doesn’t really appear to be necessary to get the most recent missile inventory from Russia.

Taking a more cynical view, we shouldn’t forget that this war is also very profitable for many influential institutions, and here, again, Russia’s military industrial complex is dwarfed by that of the liberal democracies.

Western militaries benefit from donating older equipment to Ukraine, knowing it will be replaced by updated versions. Recent donations of F16s were not exactly purely altruistic, knowing they will be replaced by F35s at $80m each.

It seems like Lockheed Martin, (who produces the F35, HIMARS, GMLRS, ATACMs($1.4m each), Raytheon (Patriot missiles), General Dynamics (Abrams tanks), Rheinmettal (Leopards), etc. are the winners of this war.
