Don’t care - Western investors in Russia are big boys, they made bad investment calls and should not now expect to be bailed out by G7 governments pulling punches when it comes to their own national security interests. The writing was on the wall since 2014 on Russia - these investors should have listened to the best advice of their own governments and got out when they could.
Agreed! I was thinking more of western government / central bank funds in russia, but will happily admit i’m unaware of how much of that is actually in russia. I’m not seeing russia paying Ukraine volontarily so looks to be only feasible solution.
